EMC AUTOMATION INTRODUCES PRECISION LOG PERIODIC ANTENNA FOR EMS TESTING

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS – EMC Automation has introduced the PLP-3003 Precision Log Periodic antenna. The PLP-3003 is a new generation, high precision compact antenna designed for EMC testing over the wide frequency range of 300 MHz to 3 GHz.

The PLP-3003's combination of operating frequency range, moderate power handling (500W CW), low VSWR, and precision design make it an exceptional choice for emissions as well as immunity measurements and metrology applications. The PLP-3003's improved design provides excellent cross polarization rejection, improved pattern symmetry, and a low average VSWR of 2:1. The PLP-3003 is individually calibrated according to ANSI 63.5 with signed certificate of calibration.

Designed in-house by our antenna design engineers, the PLP-3003 is manufactured using tight-tolerance, precision fabrication methods to minimize intrinsic uncertainties. This mechanically-precise, weld-free design yields predictable performance and delivers accurate, consistent measurements.
